About Me.

My name is Carol Norton and I provide personalised short and long term support services for people who wish to remain in their own homes for as long as possible. My work involves enabling clients to reach their optimal independence in activities of daily living which includes short term assistance when recovering from an acute illness or managing longer term needs. I have extensive experience of working with patients (primarily, but not exclusively, the older age groups) with both physical and mental health challenges.

With over 20 years experience working as an Occupational Therapist with the NHS (14 of which were based in the South Hams area) and with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy, I am well positioned to deliver a bespoke package of services designed to meet the unique individual needs of each client.

I understand how difficult it can be for families to cope with the upheaval of the intrusion of multiple carers coming into their environment, often at times not convenient to their lifestyle.

It is my aim to reduce any anxieties around the implementation of support services. I know how important it is for families to work with a reliable, flexible and conscientious assistant dedicated to delivering a professional service.

My passion has always been to make a difference to an individual’s quality of life.

I am a mother of three children and have four beautiful grandchildren, a dog, a cat and a tortoise!
I enjoy gardening, reading, yoga, walking my dog on our beautiful beaches and keeping up to date with current affairs.

I look forward to meeting you and having the opportunity of being of assistance to you.
